As a veteran of films by Gerard Malanga, Salvador Dali, and Derek Jarman, Drako is well-placed to give advice as to the intricacies of plotting. Warning! contains pictures of the penis.
We are on the way!
After over seven years of filming we are finally beginning to edit the film! Myself and the inordinately talented and P A T I E N T Jim Scott have started the process of reviewing all the footage gathered to date with a view to separating the excellent from the indifferent.
So far, Drako shines in every frame, except the ones where he is asleep or bored, even in those he’s beatific. My camera work in the early scenes is abominable though. So bad that I am beginning to wonder if it’s not only appropriate but necessary, to apologise for it in the film.
Drako appears several times in his “Jason King” look, several times in this odd, largely nonsensical Dali “automentary”. First about 1:38 in.
The latest trailer for The Man Whose Mind Exploded.
I took Drak to the A&E last night as he had a bit of trouble with his legs. Not an extreme emergency, but there was no guarantee he’d remember to see his GP the next day.
The latest trailer…
A small taster of the documentary I am making with one Drako Oho Zahazahar. Co-produced with Dandy Films.
This is the interior of Drako’s flat where you can get an idea of how he uses the space around him to compensate for his lack of memory.
Filmed by Oliver Harrison.
Our hero and I at the end of a rather blustery and only partially successful shoot on Brighton’s nudist beach. For some reason the sound man left the location earlier than expected.
Excellent photo by Nick Skidmore.
